Teri started managing horse farms in 1995 in Arizona, and eight years at Waldorf Farm in New York prior to becoming Sequel’s Farm Manager. With Teri Brown at the helm, our horses, our farm, and our staff are in great hands.
William (bill) mcguire, ph.d. | assistant Farm Manager
Bill comes to Sequel from the world of academics most recently establishing the thoroughbred breeding program at Arkansas State University. Born in South Dakota, Bill was a calf roper for many years combining his passion for learning and horses into degrees from Kansas State as well as Colorado State University. Dr. McGuire received his PH.D. in reproductive physiology and followed with postdoctoral studies in Nebraska continuing his research in the field. His excitement to join Team Sequel is infectious and he looks forward to recruiting some “Red Wolves” equine students to continue their education with hands on experience in foaling, breeding and management.
Buster Brown | resident cowboy
At the age of 6, Buster was riding on cattle drives, from New Mexico to Colorado. A modern day cowboy, he has trained many horses in the quarter horse and show horse world. From breaking, to training and the breeding shed to the foaling barn, he knows his way around a horse. Working alongside his wife, Teri for the past 35 years, he spent the past eight years as Farm Manager for Waldorf Farm in North Chatham, New York. Sequel is proud to welcome someone with Buster’s experience and horsemanship to the team.
